The Return Of The Ice Cube Trays · 11 September 2007
The Return Of The Ice Cube Trays is a chronicle of the inhabitants (and descendants) of the mythical cities Wade City and Dougland.
The Return Of The Ice Cube Trays was founded in 2003 by Tony Larkin and Adam Cote as an experimental recording project. The first song to be recorded was “Masculine About Fiber” which became the third track on the debut album, “Torlo ‘n Me.”
The first six albums were recorded exclusively on a 1986 Tascam Porta-II cassette four-track. Subsequent albums were recorded on the Tascam, a Boss BR-1180CD, a Boss BR-1600CD or some combination thereof.
Major characters include Torlo, Big City Ben, Philbourne Jenkins, and Humboldt Roundtree.
